Food intolerance

What is food intolerance?

Food Intolerance or Food Sensitivity is a delayed hypersensitivity reaction presenting a whole-body systematic response involving several organ systems.

Food Proteins may cross the intestine barrier unnaturally, exposing them to the immune system and eventually triggering inflammatory reactions. The symptoms occur in a delayed manner.

Symptoms range from bloating, constipation, nausea, irritable bowel syndrome, joint pain, migraines, chronic weight problems, atopic dermatitis, urticaria, and eczema.

Why food intolerance tests are important?

Food Intolerance Test is a diagnosing tool that identifies whether your body is hypersensitive towards certain food that can impact your system adversely.

These are blood tests that can measure your system’s response to a particular food by detecting the IgE and food specific IgG antibodies in human serum, thereby triggering antigens identified and the symptoms alleviated by avoiding the corresponding food.
